The Elementary Science Fair will start at 2:00 on Wednesday. Please come to school to see your child demonstrate their project. I am also sending home another copy of the project guide lines.
Spelling…. No test this week, we are doing some phonics review.
Word a Day… WAD this week on Monday and Tuesday.
Reading… Students will continue to work in small groups, read to self, work on writing, word work, listen to reading and read to someone.
Math…We will take the Chapter 3 test on Wednesday. We have completed the Chapter 3 review; it should be in your child’s folder – if you want to help them study at home.
Grammar… This week we are working on using a dictionary.
Social Studies/Science…
SS…we will finish up Chapter 5 with a test on Wednesday, The Pilgrims Build a Community.

Show and Tell … no show and tell this week

3rd Grade

Hi,I am Ms. Meier a Title I licensed teacher who is working with the 3rd Grade class. At this time I am working with students in reading and math. I am helping with daily assignments and computer programs. During this quarter, I will be working in the math areas of: reading & interpreting graphs, perimeter & area, reviewing time & measurement, and temperature. We will also be moving into understanding multiplication.
Just a reminder, you can access Real Math & Compass computer programs from your home computer.
