Monday

The snow is here – students should come to school with proper clothing to play outside at recess time. An extra pair of socks to keep in the locker is handy too.

HOMEWORK  - WAD



Dear Parents/Guardians ,

Spelling…. The word list has been sent home –green. We will take a pretest on Tuesday and this weeks spelling test on THURSDAY.
Word a Day… WAD this week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Reading… Students will continue to work in small groups, read to self, work on writing, word work, listen to reading and read to someone. Students work on vocabulary work and sentences each week.
Math…We are working on Chapter 3, Measurement and Time – we continue to review addition and subtraction - please practice the facts at home.
Grammar… This week we are working on using a dictionary and will finish a paragraph we started last week.
Social Studies/Science…

SS…We will continue with Map Skill and we have been working from Time for Kids, we are also reading Chapter 5, The Pilgrims Build a Community.

SCI …talking about the science fair project and Science Week
Show and Tell… BOYS may bring in show and tell on Thursday.
